Daniel Cammish starts both Porsche Carrera Cup GB races at Croft on pole position, after taking his first double pole of the season.
Daniel took the top spot by 0.342 seconds from 2014 Champion Josh Webster, in the Nationwide/PPG Paint Porsche 991.
The Leeds-born driver will also start race two on Sunday (28th June) on pole position after setting the second fastest time of the session.
Daniel commented: “I’m really happy. Coming here I wasn't sure I had the ultimate pace, I sometimes wonder if this place suits me. Testing was hit and miss as it rained on and off, so we didn't learn much, but I knew we would have a pretty decent car and the result is fantastic. To have my first double pole, and by a little bit of a margin, is a brilliant result so I couldn't be happier for myself and the team. Tomorrow’s another day but the Nationwide/PPG car feels great.
He continued: “I’ve always struggled to convert my practice pace into pole positions, so I’m really happy that this weekend my hard work has paid off.”
The first race tomorrow will start at 12.42 with the second race kicking off at 16.19.
