Porsche Carrera Cup GB championship leader, Daniel Cammish, makes his way to Croft, North Yorkshire, this weekend (27-28 June) for rounds seven and eight of the series.
Daniel leads the British championship by 27 points from nearest rival, Stephen Jelley, after a pole, a win and a second place at Oulton Park three weeks ago.
The Yorkshireman is hoping to continue his run of good fortune in the Nationwide / PPG Paint sponsored Porsche 991, at what is his home race.
Daniel commented: “I am very much looking forward to Croft this weekend as it is the home race for both myself and my team Redline Racing. It is also a rather important race weekend as we hit the mid way point of the season and I would very much like to keep or extend my points advantage.
He continues: “Croft has both fast and technical sections which makes it very challenging, along with a track surface which is notoriously tough on tyres. It is sure to make for exciting racing. I intend to use the home advantage to continue my good form in front of my friends and family.”
Daniel has so far this season notched up four wins, two second places and six front row starts, from only six race meetings.
Track action will begin on Friday 26th June for two practice sessions at 10.03 and 14.25. Qualifying will be on Saturday 27th June at 15.05 with both races on Sunday 28th June - race one starting at 12.42 and race two at 16.19.
